Stamped Concrete in Merrionette Park Matched to Your Home
Patterns and tones selected with samples held against your brick, siding and roof, then pressed, detailed and sealed.
Color Picked at Your House. Not From a Brochure.
The most common stamped concrete mistake has nothing to do with stamping. It is color. A tone that looked warm in a catalog turns pink next to red brick, or a gray that seemed neutral clashes with tan siding. That is why our color decisions happen at your home, in daylight, with samples held right beside the brick, the trim and the roof. We usually suggest two colors: a base tone mixed into or broadcast onto the concrete, and a darker release that settles into the grooves for depth. Then the pattern. Ashlar slate suits a formal brick front. Random stone works for a relaxed backyard. Wood plank fits a deck-style patio. Once those choices are made, everything else runs to a schedule. Prep day: excavation, compacted base, forms with drainage pitch. Pour day: concrete placed and colored, stamping done in sequence while the surface is at the right firmness, borders hand-tooled, joints cut along pattern lines. Curing days: the slab is protected. Sealing day: once cured, the surface is washed and sealed to deepen the color and resist stains. Grip additive is available for walking areas. Many Merrionette Park homes are brick ranches and bungalows, and a well-matched stamped walk or patio ties the yard to the house.
